Regarding pie crusts, how can one ensure the crust edge won't lose its shape?

Answer:

I have made pie crust using almond butter, uh, because I think it has the most neutral flavor of all of the butters. Um, and I just don't enjoy making that kind of a crust. So if you are using something like, um, uh, let's think of a, a insert name of a vegan butter that you like, that should absolutely work. But in the whole food plant-based no oil way, uh, you're gonna see some shrinkage from your, uh, dough, uh, if you're not using a plant-based butter. I was going to say, well, I'll answer that question 'cause there's another dessert question coming up, but, uh, I think Fran going to Chef Fran might be your, your best answer, but I'd be curious to know what your fat source was for the pie crust and what kind of flour you were using.
