Question:
Due to cold weather can dried rosemary and some garlic powder be used for making roasted rosemary potatoes?
— Heidi Hanz
Answer:
You know, what dried ingredients, uh, in, in terms of spices are absolutely perfect, uh, dried rosemary, if you had tons of it in your garden this year, I hope that you have dried it and that you have either minced it or put it into your blender or whatever. It's certainly fine. And the same thing holds true with garlic. It'll still give the same flavor on the front of this frontier bottle, it says, an eighth of a teaspoon equals one full garlic clove. So just remember that foods taste differently in off season, whether it be with the greens that you're using or maybe the herbs. But I think maybe having an indoor herb garden might work. Garlic would be hard to grow, but I think rosemary is something you could probably, uh, keep in toe. And, uh, congratulations, Heidi on finishing Forks overnights course. Um, it was a pleasure having you and I hope that you'll come back and visit us for another course because what I see a lot of, of is that the forks overnights, people wanna learn to make some desserts and they head to Chef France class, which, um, I still haven't taken, and one of these days I am going to.
