Question:

Do you have a recommendation for a good food processor?

— ESTHER ONEGA

Answer:

That kind of depends on what you're looking for out of a food processor. If you're looking something that just has to, you know, you just don't do big batches of things and you don't use a food processor a lot, you can get one of the little smaller ones, you know, uh, there are a lot of different makers to be able to make them. I even have like a wand that you would put in soup that kind of blends things up. Um, you know, and it has an attachment on the bottom. It has a small food processor kind of dome on the top of that. Um, I know there are different makers of that from Cuisinart to KitchenAid, have made those as well. And there's a slew of different ones for those as well. And some of the bigger ones, those are some of the brands that I would recommend as well. Uh, both Cuisinart and KitchenAid. Um, I use a Cuisinart, uh, right now and I've got, uh, a couple big ones that kind of fit inside of each other. I love those because, um, I can make something and just put it aside and then start something else. 'cause it has multiple blades and multiple cups on the inside. Um, but I do that a lot more for demonstration reasons. Um, so at home you might not want, you might not need that, so just having one cup is fine to be able to do something like a pesto or something like that. So, uh, my best advice for you to be able to find one is to look for what's on sale too, you know, so those cuisine, art and KitchenAid ones are wonderful. Uh, if you wanna go professional, robocop is fantastic, but those get, get up into thousands of dollars instead of just, uh, you know, 50 to a couple hundred dollars. Um, so keep an eye out for what's on sale and think about the use case scenario for it. Are you gonna be using a huge container for things all the time or are you gonna be using it smaller? And the bigger something is, or the more attachments and stuff, the more expensive they get, the smaller they are, they're going to be a little cheaper as well. So, um, I would probably start off with a smaller end and then kind of graduate up if you need to, to be able to see what works, um, for the needs that you're using it for.
