I made a jackfruit stew recently and used browning and it worked well as an additional flavoring. However, would you say that it’s best to use liquids to flavor over using actual spices?

Answer:

Both. Tony, I wouldn't have to pick between one or the other. Um, it depends on what it is you're cooking too, I would imagine. But you can't replicate li uh, the, the actual taste of the spice, um, that's been bloomed or toasted with any real liquid. It's not an either or. I think it's a both.
