What are your favorite ways to use fresh or powdered ginger?

Answer:

I think that the ways to utilize ginger are exponential. Aside from the health benefits that are often reported, I enjoy its flavor very much. I will make a pancake powder and great some gar, some fresh ginger and add that to have a gingery taste. I use it in marinades, especially if I'm making Asian inspired dishes. It's great for making teas. It has endless possibilities. I like to buy it organic just because of where it might be from. And I know that if it's organic, that I feel a lot more comfortable using that. And uh, I think that that's about it. I like them both. Uh, chef Ryan and I have a fondness for burlap and barrel spices. They're single origin, their ground ginger tastes much better than anything else I have ever had. And it's straight single origin ginger. So there is that too. I think when we go to grocery stores today, it's really important to become almost a researcher in the aisle because you wanna make sure that you're getting the best product that is good for you and tastes delicious and meets your values and things like that.
