Question

I’ll be selling some vegan mini cakes soon. Any tips for a successful sale besides flyers, and posting on social media that could be helpful?
Answer
Well, before you even set foot in your kitchen, I'm hoping that you have either insurance, food, handlers, insurance, and you can check with your local insurance broker or whoever is the carrier for your house or whatever. And that you also have a, uh, safe serve, uh, certification, either the manager level or the food worker level. And that when you make these, if you will be making them in a certified kitchen, will you be cooking out of a church? Um, have you gotten permission to cook in your own home? So those are some important things. In terms of wanting to have a successful sale, uh, I'm thinking out loud that it's going to be under a tent of some sort. So you wanna have good signage with a banner, you wanna have an attractive, uh, array of goodies, excellent signage and pricing. And that's what people like best. And people also know that, like to know that they can take whatever it is that they purchase home in a little bag or whatever so that it gets to their home safely. I would love to know, uh, what those mini cakes are, 'cause they certainly sound delicious, but I think, uh, having insurance and your safe serve are two very important things to also consider.
