Question:

To keep sliced apples from turning brown, you said that you use apple juice. Do you cover the apples with the juice or just dip them? If you cover them with juice, do you then drain and dry them?

Answer:

I cover them pretty much cover them with the juice or just keep turning them and then I drain them. But if I am, you know, making an apple pie, I just, I drain them really well. I like to pre-cook at least some of my apples if I'm making an apple pie. So, um, that's something that I do with them. And then of course I saved the juice. I saved the juice.
