Can you please share a non-nut pie crust recipe?

Answer:
Super easy to make a non nut pie crust. So we're really talking about kind of a press in crust here. And often they're made with nuts and a fat to hold them together a cookie crust or like a think gram cracker crust for example. But I do that very often because there are, you know, I, I'm vegan and I happen to be lactose intolerant, but when I am serving desserts, I consider people who are soy avoiders, people who are, which I am not. I eat a lot of soy who are egg alert, uh, nut have nut allergies for example, which is why I use oat milk. But going back to your crust, if you get yourself some nice majo dates, for example, and remove the pit, look at each date because very occasionally one will be black inside. And that's mold that has happened to me very, very rarely. But I like to remind people to look, I I got 11 pounds of gorgeous magel dates from my daughter-in-law who lives in California recently. And they're beautiful. If your dates are hard, then steam them to soften them. You don't wanna soak your dates to make this crust, but spin them in a food processor with oat flour or a rice flour or coconut and anything really, you might need a little bit of liquid fat, you probably won't because the dates are going to stick this together so that you can press a crust and it works really beautifully. Um, and then you can store that in your freezer. But that's one example for you. Or if wheat is not a problem, you can make a graham cracker crust. We, we do a graham cracker in essential vegan desserts that's super easy, quite low in sweetener and delicious. And often my students will present as you know, lots of people do s'mores of course, but Graham cracker Chris are easy too.
