I’m looking for “self raising flour” but it’s hard to find. Can’t I just take regular unbleached or cake flour and add something?

Answer:

Absolutely. I don't use summarizing flour because I prefer to buy organic flowers. And by the way, I keep my whole grain flowers in the refrigerator or the freezer. But just add, typically what you'll read is for each cup of flour, add one and a half teaspoons of baking soda and maybe a quarter of a teaspoon of salt.
