Question:

Is Monkfruit in your container of sugars you don't like?

— Helen Wertheim

Answer:

Monk fruit, which is low Han that is the actual monk fruit and I got to work with it years ago. Before it became a thing. I was working with a branding firm in New York City that was working with a very big carbonated beverage company and I got in the mail in a plain brown envelope. some white powders and what I learned about it was That it has to be so highly processed in order to get the bad taste out. Then that's inherent in the Lohan that just was too processed for me so I don't use it but I have noticed and I think if you start looking at this class of sweetener, you're going to see that they are mixed together.
