Can you recommend a process/methodology in creating a recipe. Moving from following a recipe to creating a recipe.?

Answer:

I write everything in long hand because it's what I know when I have to write a recipe professionally, I do it all in long hand first and I like to take notes as I go along to sort of tweaking ingredients and a little bit of this take this out. Don't use this. So my suggestion would be to perhaps look online. There are many many recipe Foundation websites that you can use but I think starting from scratch with a notebook and a pen or a pencil is a really good way to go and I also want to throw in Jay that a lot of what we do in the kitchen is almost instinctual based on our preferences and our own flavors and taste and things like that.
