Question:

Do you have any tips on how to cook hash browns?

— Carmelia Polk

Answer:

Okay, Kim Campbell from plant pure Nation Jane esselsten from prevent and reverse heart disease. They have two great ways to cook hash browns and I'll tell you what they are. You can use either freshly grated potatoes that you want to then put into cold water. So that they don't turn brown or you can use the Woodstock brand of hash browns, which contain no oil. And you open up your Panini machine or a waffle iron? And you throw that big mound of Frozen potatoes on there? And you close it. And after about 20 minutes, you have the most beautiful flag. Or gigantic wafer of oil-free hash browns ever. So that would be one recommendation. The other recommendation is I actually like making hash browns on a sheet pan in a 425 degree oven taking those potatoes that were resting in water draining them. Well because you don't want them to steam you want them to get crispy and I think that would also work very well for you.
