Question:
What is the best way to have spices cling to air popped popcorn without the use of oil?
— Clara Waldron
Answer:
This is this is kind of a fun question because we do a lot of this sort of air popped popcorn with spices here at home, you know as a very quick and satisfying snack and you know what I have found is that Dry kernels will leave a lot of spices at the bottom of the pan and or the bowl or you know, whatever that vessel is that you're using and that the two methods that I have found success with is a little bit of oil or some sugar. So the sugar will melt onto the surface of the popcorn and then the spice adheres to that. Okay. Perhaps there's a happy middle ground that you can work with or maybe there's just a different way that I'm unfamiliar with that you might stumble upon through your own experimentation. Okay, but those are my experiences to share with you today. Thank you.
