It is harder than wood typically, but it is not, you know, a lot of people do like glass cutting boards or some people even use Granite cutting boards. Those are horrible on your knives. I don't recommend using those at all. But you know plastic is going to be a little a little bit harsher on your your knife than wood. That's one of the reasons I like would cutting boards a little bit more. So if it's just that, you know, if you're just kind of deciding between those two you don't have things here worrying about the contamination, you know, definitely would recommend going for the wooden one as well.
