Question:

Which is the best non-toxic and non-stick frying pan?

— Krisztina Boka

Answer:

You know, whatever our grandmothers used whatever our grandmother's used before they started using aluminum is good. However, I did bring this ceramic pot of. And I happen to love this and it Cooks beautifully and things don't seem to stick and I've had this for a zillion years used to have a really bright shiny fake brass handle. And the reason why I like this is because it Cooks beautifully it's easy to clean and I teach a lot of classes using an induction a portable induction stove top and this will take to an induction stove. So you have to Study well, what kind of pot and pan collection will suit your kitchen best what will fit your budget best and I say that rather than going out and buying a full pot and pan set get one at a time and see if you like it. And if you like the saute pan, then get yourself a four quart saucepan and so forth and so on the other thing in my own kitchen, I have pots and pans that are 70 years old. They were my mother's Revere wear copper bottom stainless steel pots, which still cook beautifully and evenly so I often will encourage students go to a thrift shop and see if there is something there that is attractive to you that doesn't have Teflon or whatever those new coats are, you know called today? So, you know, we want to cut down on waste not just in our kitchen but in our lives in general so going to the thrift shop I think is a really good way to also Embrace not being wasteful.
