Is there a way to speed up the soaking process for nuts or grains?

Answer:
Well what I do. I'm laughing because when I was like a teenager and I would make Jello which I would never make today. I would speed it up by using ice cubes because I'm so impatient. Or it can be impatient. So what you want to do is I would use I cover them with boiling water. Put them put them in a bowl pour some boiling water over it cover it and wait 10 minutes and you've got a beautiful nut. But I also would encourage you to after you strain them to also Pat them dry with a towel so that they that fat stays in there. Hope that helps.
