Question:

Any recipe suggestions for hemp milk or hemp seeds? Anything I need to know on how the product behaves to best incorporate into meals?

— Tokie Williams

Answer:

Not too much actually, which is great milk can have seeds you can use milk just like you would like an almond milk the you know, depending on what you're using it for we'll have different ways that it reacts, you know, so hemp milk doesn't really like froth up as much as like an oat milk or something would And but it does have a nice fat content to it hemp seeds are great because you can just you know, scatter them over the top of things. So over salads over soups over oatmeal all kinds of things. It's a great way. In fact, my mother-in-law does it every morning which will put hemp seeds over the bottom of her on the top of her oatmeal and fruit just to be able to put a little extra, you know nutrients into it. So so the seeds really not too much to you know, you have to worry about about how it behaves but for recipes suggestions, I use it almost just like an added nutrient into it. You don't really taste it a whole lot. So don't worry about that as much but it's a great thing to be able to kind of put on like a crust or someone like that too. So maybe you're making like a cashew cheese like roll like we do in one of our classes. I think that's the macadamia nut cheese roll. It's like a harder cheese or On the cheese that we do for our agar course or our agar lesson in the pro pro plant covers you could do a crusted, you know hemp seed on the outside of one of those too, which is greater. Just roll it. You know in the macadamia nut cheese, but they'll stick to it. It'll add just a little bit of you know nuttiness to it, but not too much or just great. And then the help milk hemp milk. Just try it in the way you normally do and you'll probably be surprised it, you know, it reacts very much like other milks too except for maybe the frothing if he is it for something like coffee.
