Question:

What are the important courses for every chef?

— Maryam Arnous

Answer:

Well, that's depends on what kind of Chef you want to be. So Rouxbe offers a wide variety of different courses, you know, the plant-based Pro is definitely a favorite for people that are looking for, you know, a vegan lifestyle The Forks Over Knives class is a great one for somebody going for a whole food plant-based course, that's no oil course at all. The plant-based Pro is pretty darn close to that and fact, we do substitutions when there are oil in there and we try to make everything gluten free in those two at least alternatives to have gluten-free version. So you'll see like a gluten-free Satan in there which is wild because Satan is just week gluten, so we came up with another version for people that were gluten free. Um, so, you know other courses, you know, we have our Pro cook course, which is more of a kind of a standard course incorporates meats and other ingredients into it as well, too. If you're into Seafood Chef Barton Seaver created a course for us for sustainable Seafood. That's just fantastic. I don't eat fish personally, but I've had to review through them and it's written very well. It is a great personality for it. You know friend did an amazing vegan desserts class. That's just I mean every body that I know in the whole food plant-based world is loves friends class and vegan desserts. So I think that that's a great way to you know, kind of dive into that world. If you're not vegan, there's a wonderful set by the French pastry school that we that helped helped us make our pastry course bread making course and a cake making course three different courses, but very there's a lot in them. So it's a great thing to be able to you know, kind of progress through the three of those as well. So, you know, Depends on the importance on what you want to actually put your focus on but those are what six different courses that are kind of like some pretty stellar work that we've put out. There's also some other courses like the Jacques Pepin course, which is fantastic where it really feels like Jacques Pepin is teaching you every single he is teaching every single one. They're all video recipes instead of some of them were some of them videos some more text. This one is all video recipes and he shows you amazing techniques to be able to use on a wide variety of things. That one doesn't include a fish and poultry in it as well. But not meat like a red meat as well, but that's a great course and it's kind of a go as you well as well. You know, it's it's not like you have to do it in a certain amount of time. You can take your time with it and go back to it. So lots of different options out there that really offers and I highly recommend a lot of them, but they're also some sample courses be able to see each one of those to see which ones you like.
