Question:

What is your personal supplementation?

— David Schargel

Answer:

Here's what I take in a day. I take a probiotic because I had IBS my whole life until I went plant-based but this really helps me even more taking this probiotic. So I take a probiotic I take doctor Fuhrman's women's formula. I don't I take one. I only take half the dose because I'm getting all the other stuff elsewhere but I like his formula too because it has a vitamin K2 in there and it doesn't have folic acid in there. So I take that and I take oh Vega three, so that is a long chain. Oh mean it omega-3 fatty acid supplement. It's got DHA and EPA. There's another one called Diva. But I've just been taking this a Vega three and again, I haven't taken it and taken it to a lab and supplement and checked it and we also don't know the exact perfect ratio of EPA and DHA we should be taking so I'm actually wanting to research that at some point now after I get my book out all these deadlines I've got but I would love to research that eventually and find out because I don't even know how much research there is out there on the exact dose. But anyway, so I'm just taking a Vega three now. So probiotic charge affirmins and Omega 3 Those are the Staples that I take on a regular basis. So I've heard wonderful things about turmeric some people take that if they have inflammatory conditions when I had I had a back injury when I was over exercising a couple years ago or a year and a half ago and I was taking turmeric. I don't know if I noticed a difference but some research is compelling on that, but that's that's my overall but I oh my gosh I eat so much that I just eat a lot ton of vegetables of fruits. I eat my nuts and seeds. So I feel like I'm good on every other front. So that's just a basic formula and that's what I recommend for. My clients is a multi and then the the omega-3 formula if you are not gonna do a multi then at least make sure please plant base eaters, please I'm begging everyone make sure you're getting your B12 at least and I recommend people get their vitamin D levels checked so I watch my vitamin D levels every year when I get my labs done and if it sinks a little bit lower than I'll add a little bit of vitamin D and but I've been able to keep it up with just the 2000 I you a day that's found in the furman's formula. And so that's that's that was my that's my personal regimen.
