Question:

In your opinion, which is worse, excess salt/sodium or sugar consumption?

— Patrick Britton

Answer:

Well, that's that's an interesting. I don't know if I can compare the two because they're so different. The only way they all come together is that if you think about all processed foods all processed foods have added sugars or most have added sugars have added salts have added oils because these are the things that make them by definition hyper palatable make you want to have more the more you have of these things the more you want. Now if you have high blood pressure, you can you know, you're better off you have to reduce your sodium intake you really need to reduce your sodium intake if you're consuming high sodium. So that's going to be more imminent than perhaps eating more out of sugars. But again, like it all goes together, right? We're one body and you know, our diet is the overall totality of our diet is one thing and your best off eating just Whole Foods and getting rid of those process foods and you could you know, what does Free two birds in one cage Melanie Joy with us at free two birds with one cage by just getting rid of the processed foods and that's what's so great about Rouxbe. We're learning how to cook here and we're learning how to make foods and just eating really simple Whole Foods is going to be the best for all of these different things. It's a win-win-win situation across the board.
