Is there any way to make a vegan Pecan Pie?

Answer:

Well, absolutely. And I'm gonna go to my book again and show you there's my pecan pie. Um, there are many different ways to do it with, generally with cooking together several different of the liquid sweeteners, uh, maple syrup, maybe some agave rice syrup is gonna give it the stickiness. My trick for pecan pie or anything pecan is I slow roast the pecans really slowly, like a 225 degree oven. I never walk away when I've got nuts in the oven. And that just gives them a wonderful flavor.
