Question:
If you could choose only 3 major cooking tips (that you see people fail a lot) what would they be?

Answer:
Well, the first one is that, uh, you know, I love grading the, uh, no oil saute mushroom assignment because I always think at the end, after reading the summary, when a student describes how it worked for them, it lets me know that you have mastered this technique. And it's probably one of the most important techniques, especially if you're following either forks over knives or whole food plant-based, no oil Allah, Dr. McDougall or Dr. Essel. So I would say no oil saute. And then I would say find three salad dressings that you love that are oil free. So in our roster of salad dressings, uh, the balsamic dressing is delicious. I like to add a little chia seed to it just to thicken it up a little bit. And to change up the color, I use a white balsamic so that it just looks cheerier. Um, because I, I know for people who aren't vegan, I have served, uh, a balsamic glaze and that people have asked if it's chocolate sauce. So, uh, maybe changing the color of that. So no oil saute, uh, salad dressings and master one or two desserts that you feel comfortable making that won't break the bank so that your, your plant-based repertoire has, uh, three things that everybody likes. They like a delicious salad. They're gonna love your no oil saute when you place it on a po, a bed of pasta. And, uh, everybody loves dessert. And again, uh, if anybody here has made the chocolate ganache tort, um, that is always a crowd, please. And if you don't do the pie part you want, might wanna make it into a moose. Um, which is another good suggestion, and this is where I always like to say, um, because I'm, I'm not a, uh, I'm not a baker baker, but I always love going into the archives of essential vegan desserts where Fran Costigan can kind of, you know, walk you through becoming a, a master, uh, of cooking. So those would be my three things. And the other thing is just to relax and have fun. You know, I think that, uh, experimenting and having fun and inviting neighbors over and other things like that is, is just another nice way to enjoy, um, what it is that you do.
