How do you recommend recipe management? Do you always follow them? You are an expert and I guess you don't follow recipes at all. But what's the best way to approach them?
Answer
There are a lot of, um, apps that you can use. Uh, I have a shoebox. I have a shoebox. It has little notes on it, little rips and tears. Um, and, uh, I'm more of an instinctual cook and things just kind of, uh, you know, I'm the granddaughter of chefs. I'm always proud of that. Um, but, um, I, uh, somebody has asked me to collect some of my recipes and put them together. And I will say that I'm kind of annoyed with myself for not keeping better, excuse me, better records accurately on a computer, because it has been, um, a pain in the neck to transcribe everything. But, uh, you know, a lot of things, uh, just kind of, uh, make sense to me. But Ingrid, that's like the funniest question I've, I've, uh, ever read. And, uh, it, it kind of made me shortle a little bit because my friends are, if my friends saw that question, they would be rolling their eyes at me. Um, but do what works for you. You know, our mothers and our grandmothers knew what they were doing with that little index box that looks so cute. And your mom would be at the kitchen table writing out a recipe for something. And she always seems so organized with that. So, uh, maybe that's something, uh, that we all, uh, need to do.
