What % protein will be and how do you convert a mix of black beans, corn and pumpkin as an alternative to meat?

Answer:
Uh, let's see. Okay. In, interesting. So a couple of different parts of the question here. The first one is, how do you convert a mix of black beans, corn, and pumpkin, right? To create some alternative to meat? Okay? And then what would the protein percent be of that Is, is, uh, uh, the question here. So, um, I don't know. Uh, you know, this is one of those situations where you would, um, I would, or you would, right? The cook would, um, probably need to, um, if not consult a nutritionist, at least go to Dr. Google and look for, uh, a website and probably multiple websites, um, that have these nutrient calculators built in where you can just enter some data on the type of ingredient that you're talking about in the quantity, and it'll give you some information, um, for the, the typical, uh, scenario. Okay? These are, um, and I suggest checking out multiple websites, um, to find the one that best fits you and your needs, your desired results, okay? Uh, and then you can come up with some approximation of that. It's gonna be an approximation. Please understand that. Um, we're not gonna, we're not gonna know, uh, with, um, I, I'm not even sure what the, what the degree of precision would be, but we're not gonna know, you know, uh, with, with any degree of, of precision just from some website online. However, um, you know, without doing some more intense, uh, laboratory work, um, to, to, to dissect these components, um, from the food, and that's just impractical. Okay? So, uh, what percent will be, uh, protein, I think these, uh, online, uh, sources can help you get to that. All right? Now also, keep in mind, you know, if, if you're thinking about, um, uh, you know, with concern, um, what it looks like to, to transition from plants or from, from eating meat to eating primarily plants, um, you know, understand, you know, first of all, that regardless of where the source of protein, right? Our, that comes into our body, the body breaks that down, uh, into amino acids, and then our body will reconfigure those amino acids to build the protein that our body requires. And so there's some internal work that we have to do. Now, having said that, you know, uh, you know, uh, the, the amino acids come from all foods that we eat. Um, you know, yes, if you're eating meat, you're getting all of the essential amino acids in one package. But if you're eating a variety of plants, right? In a varied plant-based diet is always the recommended type of plant-based diet, then, um, you're going to do the best that you can do. And, and, and usually an adequate job, um, of getting all of the amino acids in the required amounts for your body to synthesize protein. Okay? And, um, you know, so, you know, for example, the combination that you mentioned, black beans, corn, and pumpkin, um, you know, with whatever else that you're eating, you know, maybe some whole wheat bread or something else, um, you know, maybe enough to get you to, um, um, uh, a, a a complimentary situation with your amino acids so your body can, uh, re, you know, replenish, um, the protein as needed.
