Question:
I recently went to a vegan popup where the baked goods were made with spelt flour. What are the benefits and how can I incorporate this into my diet?

Answer:
So, uh, spelt flour, you know, high, it's another thing that's really high in fiber. Um, you know, nutrition wise it's, you know, very comparable, you know, but there's, like, I'm, I'm not really sure what to tell you on the nutrition aspect of that. Uh, there might be a little bit more nutrition in it depending on if it's a whole spelt or, you know, processed. But, um, yeah, there is a different flavor to it as well too. So compared to like a white flour, you're definitely going to notice a little bit of a difference on that. Um, so, you know, as far as benefit wise goes, I just have to Google that to tell you the truth. Um, and, you know, incorporating it into your diet is, you know, using spel flour, you can use that in a lot of other baked goods. So you can do spel tortillas, you can do spel, you know, uh, breads, all kinds of other things you can make with pels. Um, you know, so if you wanna incorporate it more, it's basically just finding some recipes to be able to use a spel flour in the ways that you want it to. Um, but otherwise for nutrition, not, I don't know off the top of my head, you'd have to look that up.
