Question:

How can you make vegetables last longer in the fridge?

— Shauna Calkins

Answer:

I would say yes, I would add a little bit of moisture to them. Probably maybe wrap them in a slightly damp towel paper towels would probably give you a few more days. If not a week plus the crisper drawer is a good place and I would say that maybe one of the more important things here is consistency of temperature. I I'm just guessing this is a guesstimation but it is the swing in temperatures that causes the biology of these plants the physiology to kick into motion thus to, you know, send Sprouts up or change starches into sugars Etc and get flabby. So a change in temperature is probably pretty important to avoid. So if you can put them in the back of your fridge where they're not fluctuating every time you open the door would probably get you a few more days and that's true of Well just about anything so. Here you go some uterusal Universal advice for you.
