Question:
What can I cook with root veggies to help temper the "rooty" earthy taste?
— Shawn Marie Van Coillie
Answer:
That caramelization is really going to be key those spices. I think are another way and I've spoken about this adding Ginger I think is a really great way, which is another earthy rooty thing, but also It's kind of a very ethereal flavor if you will in Aroma. And fresh herbs that at the end is a really great way to bring the root veg back to life. As I said a little bit earlier sort of add that Pizzazz that freshness to it and that helps to diminish or as you say sort of temper that earthiness that rootiness down. You can also always just add sweet something too. Like I did with this mustard mustard in maple syrup glazed turn up, which I'm really looking forward to eating.
