Question:
Is it okay to use date sugar in baking, or is there a better choice?
— Alice Jenkins
Answer:
Now, I think some of you who used a sugar might have a different opinion, but my opinion is that date sugar and I love dates and I do have date sugar doesn't dissolve in the same way that cane or even coconut sugar does. And so, and it burns. If you sprinkle it on the top of something, it tends to burn. So that isn't my choice. That said, over my shoulder over here, I have some very fine date sugar. Everything is labeled because you see the kind of all looks the same, doesn't it? So it's not my choice for baking. Alice. I would prefer to use coconut sugar. And coconut sugar has a kind of a very gritty consistency. I grind it and keep it in an airtight container.
