Question:
I've baked the Dot Jam Holiday Cookies from Forks Over Knives, but the ones that I make with blue berry jam, don’t look so well. Is there a way for that jam not to permeate into the cookies’ dough?
— Lucy Barrera Méndez
Answer:
Well, I am not familiar with that particular forks over knives recipe, but I will say blueberries have a way of coloring batter. They just, they do. There are some things that we can do to help that, but not everything. Um, I know what jam dot cookies are and I, and I actually know what these cookies are. So did I don't know, Lucy, did you make the blueberry jam? Was it very loose? One thing that you could do is make the cookies a jam dot has a hole in the center, bake them and then put the jam in later. That might make them look prettier. That might make them look prettier. So give that a try.
