Question:
I noticed in the no oil sauté section it says to use a stainless steel pan. Can I use my nonstick pan?
— Thomas Chilton
Answer:
I say use whatever you have the thing about the stainless steel is that you could do the Mercury water ball test easily in stainless steel. It really does form a true ball and really does look like Mercury whereas if you do it in A regular pan it almost just starts to sizzle and evaporate. So I think that is the reason why I have done that. in cast iron with my liquor say and it works pretty well in that so yeah, as long as you don't use oil Thomas, I think that's the main objective and I'm sure that your mushrooms taste really really delicious.
