Question:

I want to start cooking with cast iron but I have a glass stove top. The manufacturer says to not use anything heavy or scratchy. What are my options?

Answer:

Yeah, you can't, you can't. Well that's hard. Yeah, you can't go. You're gonna end up scratching your a cast iron pan. Nope, it's not gonna work. Uh, wish I could help you there. I'm trying to think where else could you use cast iron pan. Can you get an induction burner and do it on a conduction burner? Well you might wanna look into that Steve 'cause I'm not sure. But that you can get like a one thing induction burner. This is what we use when we do teaching kitchens, right? We get this little induction burner that just we can plug in no matter where we go.
