Question:
Can you talk about how to use the leftover pulp from making nut milk?
— Joan Gajewski
Answer:
Yes, you know, I don't like waste most of us are really getting on this no wasted food food is precious food is expensive. Let's not waste it. So in terms of what I showed you earlier. my oat pulp went back into my oatmeal my almond pulp if I have a lot and personally I don't because I don't make a lot of nutmelts. I dehydrate the pulp by spreading it out in a thin layer on a parchment. Line sheet pan and dehydrate till it's crunchy. And that works really well and I'm able to then just use it in place of a nut topping or you know, you want to flavor it up because it's not going to have a whole lot of flavor flavor it up with some cinnamon. and mix it into your porridge and your rice pudding or top a cobbler with it stuff a baked apple. That's what I would do.
