Question:

Can someone achieve all their nutrients by plant based prepping especially meeting their protein requirements when starting at basic level? Can you provide a guided walk through to help some one who struggles to food prep.

— Errol Fredericks

Answer:

So this we're going to talk about earlier as well too really kind of picking out a day to be able to start out. You know what you're going to prep ahead of time now getting all your nutrients is actually a pretty easy thing to do, you know, depending on what we are eating but if like you're looking for protein you're gonna get a lot of protein just from what you're eating on average. I do know some people that exercise religiously and tons that are like, you know professional athletes. That I've talked to you that definitely needed more protein in their diet and they definitely, you know, added more protein rich foods to their diet. So they used to do things like whey proteins, you know, so what I talked to them about was making something with a protein Rich, you know, like smoothie or something like that instead of the way, you know, smoothie so they would do something like a quinoa and blend it up in a soy milk. Little different, you know flavors and stuff into it to be able to get the high protein both out of the soy and the quinoa that they were doing, you know, but then also making sure to get those high protein things in every single meal where if you're just eating Whole Food plant-based you don't have to worry about that much because you're getting proteins just out of regular Foods. Maybe surprised how much protein you're getting but if you aren't have an athlete and you need more protein, you might want to just make sure that you're focusing on your meal prep to get more protein for each meal for those so basing like a salad and adding quinoa to it or doing tofus or temp days or different things that have higher proteins than those. But if you start looking up, The protein counts on a lot of even the vegetables you'll see that you're getting a lot of protein just through every meal as well.
