Question:

How do vinegars, soy sauces fit into the whole food plan when cooking?

— Christina grow

Answer:

A lot of different ways actually love to add vinegars. It's almost like a finisher for certain things. It brings a brightness to different dishes as well. Soy sauces, you know, I mean, there's so many different ways of both vinegars and soy sauce is fit into whole food cooking. It really just depends on the dishes. I use soy sauce is a lot and Tamaris as a salt replacer. I don't really use salt that much at all like cooking but I will use tamari which actually has a sodium content to it. We'll also add a little bit of mommy flavor to it depending on the soy sauce you're using But the vinegar is definitely brighten up a dish where the soy sauce might add a little bit of sodium and a little bit of umami to it. But again, there's so many different uses for both of those ingredients and whole food and plant-based cooking you just cooking in general. That's a pretty big rabbit hole we could go down.
