How does psyllium husk / powder work in gluten free baking? Is it possible to use it in muffins and cakes?

Answer:

Psyllium powder think of it as in the same way that you think of a ground flax or ground Chia gel. and it's a thickener so you can use it in muffins and cakes, but not I don't know what it is that you want to do with it. You just use a tiny little bit and it's going to thicken that's all it's going to do and there are people who use it in place of flax or Chia in gluten-free baking.
