Rouxbe StaffYes, you can use normal mayonnaise.

What can I substitute for mayo?

Hey Timothy and thanks for your question! So I always use yogurt vs. mayo in this recipe - sometimes my kids want me to use Eggless Mayo, and that works too! Give the yogurt a try; I think you will love it! All the best and thanks so much for cooking with Rouxbe! Chef Kirk

What kind of yogurt do you recommend?
-
Rouxbe StaffHello, Kervin--looks as though you will not be using the vegan mayo. I would recommend using "Soy Delicious" unsweetened, coconut yogurt. It is very hard to find an unsweetened variety, and this is what I use in a pinch. Let us know how the recipe works for you. Happy cooking. Cheers, Char
