Culinary Rx focuses on essential cooking techniques that will help build your confidence in the kitchen and help you take control of your own health. The course curriculum will include introductory and foundational instruction in culinary wellness. This includes topics such as how to properly cut with a knife, preparing and cooking vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, along with other strategies for kitchen success.
When does the course begin?
After you purchase your course, you can start anytime you wish. There are no specific start dates. Once you start the course you have 60 days to complete the program.
How and when do I attend class?
Your course is available on-demand 24/7 from any internet enabled device. The program is self-paced, meaning there are no specific dates to submit assignments or attend class. The only limitation is that you must complete the course within 60 days.
Why is this course plant-based only?
While there are many different, and often conflicting viewpoints around diet and health today, most healthcare professionals have come to agree that everyone can benefit from incorporating more plant-based foods into their diet. Culinary Rx focuses on plant-based cooking and nutrition to balance out the playing field to help educate, equip and empower our physicians and healthcare practitioners, and our home and professional cooks, with knowledge about the indisputable benefits of plant-based nutrition. For those who do not wish to consume a 100% plant-based diet, that’s okay. It is our hope that our efforts with this course will help you see the benefits of increasing your consumption of plant-based foods to accompany whatever other food choices end up on your plate.

What is your cancellation policy?
Once you have paid the tuition for this course, 25% of it becomes immediately non-refundable. As for refunding your tuition, we understand that there are sometimes unfortunate circumstances that are beyond your control that may require you to withdraw from the course (e.g. medical condition). We of course want to be supportive during these situations so will work with you on a one-on-one basis to help. However, after 7-days of the course start, there are no refunds.
