I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to take this course. The instructors are incredible, a great resource, and really want you to succeed. I was able to work it around my schedule, and still take a couple of trips during the timeframe of the course, and be able to complete it on time. I spent a good deal of time on it during the week but I looked forward to that time every day and feel that this was the next best thing to actually attending the school in person.
I feel like the course is so well organized that important skills were gradually introduced in different recipes, progressing from easier and simpler ones to harder ones. This really helped reduce the mental load when learning the complex pastry recipes! Chef Alissa and Jacquy read through my description for every single activity very carefully and answered any questions I had. Their feedback and suggestions really helped me understand these concepts more.
This course has been one of the best experiences for me. As a home baker, I wanted to build on my self-taught skills and know whether or not I could possibly change careers to do what I love. With the personal encouragement and comments from the professional chefs, I feel more confident to take the next step. Having an online course made it easy for me to learn these amazing recipes and the technical skills that go along with them, within my own timeframe. I can't recommend this course enough!

This is my first time doing an online class, I really appreciate how professional French Pastry School is in attending to their students. From the amazing Chef support down to general and technical-related support, I am more than satisfied. I would also like to point out how well-arranged the course progression is. It helps the students not to drown in the process but rather to savor the joy of learning in a very conducive platform. I have been in the world of baking and pastry arts for more than 10 years and have been enrolling in various schools to further my profession. I must say, that of all the courses I have enrolled in, Introduction to Baking and Pastry Arts of French Pastry School is significant. The entire system has given me a worthwhile chapter in my career. It tickled my love for learning and cultivated my eagerness to become a better version of myself. I am once again reminded that there can be so much to discover. Indeed, the love of learning is the most necessary passion, for in it lies our happiness.
Rouxbe has online education dialed in, the course materials and videos are top-notch. The learning model is as good as it can get for a remote class model. I have also done the professional cook certification program and this course was just as well designed. I really enjoyed the entire experience.
I really enjoyed this course. I learned so much about how to prepare for baking. I learned a lot of patience which I did not have before when I baked. The mise en place helped me a lot. The chef support and getting your grades back fast was amazing. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to enhance their skills in baking.
I really like the interaction of the chefs with the students, they always answered my questions, were sincere and direct when rating or answering something. The navigation platform is very comfortable and easy to navigate. Very pleased. I hope that more pastry courses will come and that this is just the beginning.
This is truly a wonderful course. I would have never expected this level of learning to be achieved from an online course.
