Rouxbe, the world’s leading online culinary school, has partnered with Blue Zones to develop an innovative cooking course designed to align with Blue Zones’ principles of longevity and well-being. This course provides consumers with practical, easy-to-implement culinary skills based on the science of health and longevity, empowering them to adopt healthier cooking habits at home or in the workplace.
The course introduces the Blue Zones concept, inspiring participants to make lasting dietary changes centered on whole foods such as vegetables, grains, and legumes. It aims to improve health outcomes by equipping individuals with essential culinary skills that promote better eating habits.
Beyond individual impact, the partnership extends to enterprise-level engagement through Blue Zones community transformations. With Rouxbe now integrated into health initiatives across more than 80 U.S. communities, this large-scale culinary medicine program addresses diverse populations, particularly those lacking basic culinary skills, to foster improved health outcomes.
Additionally, Blue Zones and Dan Buettner have collaborated with Rouxbe and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) to create bundled course offerings, enhancing the educational experience for IIN students and expanding the reach of this transformative program.
