Question:

Which grains are highest in protein? What is your personal preferred method for cooking grains?

— Donita Andrews

Answer:

Okay, Donita. So we went over the grains that are highest in protein, a lot of the ancient grains. And again, you can mix the grain with the legume rice and beans like cultures that have been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. And if not a thousand ha have already figured that out on their own. That's why you have rice and beans together, right? Um, and my personal preferred method for cooking grains, I like to cook it in a, I like to let the broth really sing. Um, that's one thing. So I, I'll use a flavored broth. I love this better than you bullon. Um, I use this organic better than you bullon. This is a vegetable one. Um, and I know you're vegetarian, so I, I'll add, I added some of that to the water when I made this rice. Uh, and also afterwards, that's when the party begins. That's when you could throw so many things onto your cooked grains. I like to have something crunchy on there. So a little something sweet like maybe dry cranberries in the season of pumpkin pie spice. And really just make it, um, entertaining for the tongue.
