Question:
Can you talk about taking good food photos?
Answer:
And while we're talking about assignments, just for one quick second, uh, I'll take a a mini break here and say that one of the, um, pillars of online education is a, a really descriptive, um, summary and a really good photo. And I'm not saying that you need to be, um, a a world trained photographer, but taking photos in natural light or taking your photos in a well lit area. I remember when I was at Rouxbe, sometimes I would get up really early in the morning to do an assignment so that I could catch the natural light, um, on the west side of, of my hou on the east side of my house so that I would have beautiful natural light from the sun. So those kinds of things really, really do make a big difference. And the other thing is, um, for example, when you're taking a photo of your mis and plus you wanna make sure that it's just the mis and plus, sometimes it's really, we zero in on these assignments. We're sort of like, you know, we have telescopic vision, and then there will be something that might resemble a misplace. And then a lot of stuff in the background that's kind of distracting. So just the misplace and with the mis and plus and the photo business, it's called a flat lay. If you can take it, looking over it, we will see everything that we need to see. So photos and a nice description of what you do, and those are kind of fun to read. I love when a comment ends with, and my family loved it, and I'm gonna make it again when I see that a student has reached that level of appreciation and approval from the family. I know that the assignment was really well done.
