Question
Martha LaFon
Can you talk about storing in plastic containers in fridge?
Answer
So, you know, I don't want you to think I'm the mother Theresa of plant-based cooking, but when I started, I, you know, had plastic everywhere I would drink outta plastic cups, et cetera, et cetera. Um, and the more that I read and the more that I know, uh, I move away from all of that. So I think probably now 75% of my containers are glass with plastic lids, um, just because glass is healthier for me and better for the environment. So those are two things to think about, but I, I don't think you need to go out to the store and buy, you know, 85 Pyrex dishes because that's what we discussed today. But I think everything, everything that you experience from your program sort of, um, touches a gradual button of lifestyle change for you. Uh, at least that's how I see it. If you have ever heard Neil Barnard speak, and he talks about, um, things not to do aluminum foil, for example, or seeing aluminum and things like, uh, deodorant or toothpaste, and then reading his book and seeing why, so that you move away from things that have been proven environmentally not good for us. So I love when he says that in the word Ill, there's the word I, and in the word, well, there's the word we, and that it's better to live in a we than be ill with yourself.
