Question:
How do you store pre-soaked beans and for how long can you store them?
— Victoria Mulligan
Answer:
Okay, uh, pre soaked beans, um, uh, can stay in the fridge for, uh, a while. Um, I have probably kept them in the fridge. It kinda depends on the beans, depends on your fridge. There's always variables. But I'm, I'm sure that I've kept beans in this state for, uh, for two weeks or more. Um, you gotta change the water, ideally daily, because it gets funky, uh, pretty fast. Okay. Um, and, and understand that if you, if you miss a couple of days and you come back to the container and it's got some bloom on the surface, just drain the water, rinse the beans, and then fill it up with fresh water again, the beans are probably fine. Uh, the water gets, uh, funky, uh, much quicker than the beans do. Okay. Um, but otherwise, uh, you can, you can drain them and you can freeze them, right? Or in the water, in the fridge. All right. Those are my recommendations. Thanks. All right.
