Question:

Which of the fruits discussed today have the lowest glycemic index and the highest antioxidant or anti-carcinogenic phytochemicals?

— Thomas Susko

Answer:

So I did look because that was a whole bunch of things. So when we're looking at the glycemic index, anti-cancer, so when I looked up anti-cancer, we had MD Anderson saying that berries and grapes were great. The American Cancer Society said a variety. And the American Institute of Cancer Research said that cherries and apples and grapefruit and cranberries and raspberries, and I actually do have a link also about looking up the different fruits for anti-cancer properties. They're all, um, as long as they have a color right, they have the antioxidants and the anti-inflammatories in them.
