Question:
What is the deal with lectines. Do we need to be concerned?
— Kathy Conover
Answer:
Oh, Kathy, I knew this question was gonna come up. I did because there's this one very famous physician who really is saying that lectins are really the cause cause of so many things. Um, and I got really scared when that first came out. I'm like, oh my gosh, is that why I have ral bowel syndrome, et cetera, et cetera. But as a nutritionist, there, legumes are incredibly healthy for you. There are so many positive health effects from eating foods that have lectins in them. Um, so I don't believe it's a blanket statement. And I always, always, always, when when somebody comes out, I don't care if you're a clinician, you're a dietician, you're a scientist, but you come out and say all of this is bad for you or all of that is good for you.
