Do you occasionally make your own bread? Any bread making tips for whole grain breads?

Answer:

That is definitely not my expertise. Um, my wife is the bread maker of the family, so, uh, I don't make a lot of bread for it and whole wheat breads in particular. Um, you know, as a recipe builder, I'm definitely more on, I don't do pastries and breads very much. Um, it's so exact science that I usually follow the recipe to the exact um, point. Um, uh, Peter Rein, Peter Reinhardt is probably one of my favorite, uh, recipe, uh, books. And then, you know, Margaret Wittenberg gave me a book, um, years ago called, uh, bread Time. It's actually a great book as well too, um, for, um, yeah, here, lemme grab it. It's right off screen. Um, but this is one of those Astound Earth Cookbook. It's a great little cookbook that I, um, you know, was gifted by. If you don't know Margaret Wittenberg, you should look. Margaret Wittenberg up as well. Just moved to Wisconsin as well. So Margaret, if you're out there, hello. Um, but great book, um, to be able to go through. And Peter Reinhart is another one that I love to go through. Um, another great book, but I, I typically will just exactly follow recipes for baking because, uh, it's an exact science, so good luck with that.
