Question:

Sometimes I have more lemons than I need. Can I squeeze the lemons and freeze the juice for future use?

— Diane Dankert

Answer:

I would freeze them into, uh, ice cube trays or, uh, silicone, uh, ice cube trays. I will say that if you're going to squeeze a lot of lemons that you have in your fridge, I would first roll them so that you loosen the, uh, fiber inside the lime or lemon. And then I would put it in the microwave for about 15 to 20 seconds. And then I would let them cool and slice them, and then I would do my squeezing. 'cause you'll get a lot more juice. And then putting them into, uh, an ice cube tray would work perfectly.
