Question:

How long can homemade plant milk last in the fridge?

— Toni Crawford

Answer:

So, um, depending on the milk, I would say five to six days. And I say that because that's kind of the typical when you turn an ingredient into something else and you process it even at home. Um, that's typically the amount of time you would say to be able to let it last. You will know right away if your plant-based milk has gone bad, when you open it up and smell it, it'll smell really funky if it's gone bad. Um, but I would probably say about the five to six day range is a safe range to be able to keep that and not have a single worry about it at all. After that, you definitely want to open up the lid to smell it, to see how it smells each day.
