I have shredded vegetables left over. Can I ferment them the same way that I did with red cabbage and apple recipe from the fermentation unit?

Answer:

Yeah, the quick, quick answer is yes, absolutely. And, um, you know, the, the, the sort of underlying concern to kind of keep in mind is, is just the cleanliness of everything. You know, you always want fermentation to go in the direction you wanted to go to, not in the direction of some other microbe might have in mind. Um, so yeah, give it a try. There are, um, you know, definitely, uh, uh, a, um, you know, these, these pickled fermented, uh, preparations based on shredded, uh, vegetables and, and TiVo comes to mind. And this I see commonly in, um, central American, um, uh, meals and, you know, El Salvador and, uh, uh, um, meals come to mind. And so it's a, it's a thing and people do it. And, uh, I encourage you to give it a try and see how you like the results.
