I’m looking for a white bread recipe young kids like to eat. My granddaughter is almost 6 and a little picky.?

Answer:

Yeah, this is something I had to kind of start my kids off with early was to try to look for a whole green bread that worked really well for 'em, for store-bought breads. I actually love Dave's killer bread because they do a very clean, um, version of, uh, they do a white bread, but I usually don't buy the Dave's killer white. I usually, if I do, I'm gonna do that in the hamburger bun style. Um, but you see that they use a lot more whole grains, which is great. Um, and for just a simple white bread recipe, there are tons of them out there. Um, usually if I'm going to do a white bread, it's going to be something like a baguette and I can't remember exactly, uh, who the baker is. It might be minimalist bakers. Um, the one that I use as well. I'm also a big fan of Peter Reinhardt stuff. He does a lot of sourdough stuff too, so, um, you know, giving you an exact recipe I can't do right now. I know that we do a couple through our, uh, baking and pastry courses as well too. So if you're interested in doing a little bit more baking on the baking and pastry side, we have a wonderful set of, uh, classes that were developed by the French pastry school, um, that you can enroll in as well too. So if you wanna get a wide variety of knowledge, that's a wonderful way to be able to do it. Um, and there are a lot of fun tasks that are in that as well too. Um, but as far as the just standard white bread, um, I don't have an exact recipe to point you to, but some of my favorites are definitely the minimalist, minimalist baker and Peter Reinhardt when looking in those categories.
